 Description
My client, a well respected and innovative supplier to the mining sector, manufacturing and servicing vibrating equipment, centrifuges and other capital equipment is looking for a Production Planner - Project Coordinator to join their team.

You will play a pivotal role in planning and coordinating the manufacture and assembly of capital equipment and other consumable product lines. In doing so you will interpret technical drawings, develop BOM, engage and manage sub-contractors, liaise with procurement professionals and production staff.

Your role ensures the planning for on time sourcing of all components leading to the efficient build and delivery of equipment and supplies.

Requirements:

* Experience in understanding and interpreting technical drawings, with exposure to fabrication of heavy equipment an advantage.
* Very good planning skills, with past experience in a similar role or having participated in production planning and being ready to take the next step.
* Great communication and coordination skills, being able to keep everyone informed with an ability to get people working with you.
* Being able to anticipate what needs to happen and an ability to keep things on track.
