| Description |
My client, a multi disciplined Design and Manufacturing Company that designs and builds special purpose equipment for Mining, Energy and Manufacturing industries is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Project Engineer to join their team in Brisbane QLD. This company also has an expanding range of its own patented products for international markets. If you have a successful track record in mechanical design and thrive on the design of complex equipment, then this is the opportunity you have been waiting for.
Responsibilities include:
• Leading a design project
• The design of complex mechanical engineering systems
• Writing specifications and contract documents
• Reviewing project documents prior to issue for scope and technical accuracy
• Coordinating and working with project team members
• R and D design of company innovating patented products.
Qualification:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10-15 years of related experience with a minimum 5 years focusing on the design of complex equipment
• Familiarity with design codes, equipment selection and specification development
• 3 years experience with a 3D design package
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organisational skills
